Business of the Year/ Citizen of the Year Dinner
May 4th 2017 was a night to remember!
2017 Business of the Year – Hayes Real Estate and Citizen of the Year – Teresa Williams!!!!
Chamber members, honorary recipients, friends and family all came out to support Hayes and Teresa throughout a fun night at the Wakefield Inn. Appetizers were served and enjoyed during a lively cocktail party followed by a wonderful dinner prepared by the Inn. Chicken Valentino, Salmon Piccata and Cheese Raviolis were enjoyed by all followed by a bread pudding dessert. Chamber President, Millie Badman congratulated the business and citizen in a short speech and recognized both parties dedication to the community and all of the members in it.
Teresa Williams, Citizen of the Year
Teresa Williams has been a member of our community for the better part of her entire life. She spent most of her childhood in Wakefield and also raised her own daughter, Marrissa here with her husband Joe. Teresa has not only been the “smile of the town” for over 30 years, but she has also been a great member of the community outside of her job. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful light into this community and continuing to make Wakefield a great place!
Hayes Real Estate, Business of the Year
Hayes Real Estate has been an established business in the town of Wakefield since 1972. Founder and current Broker, Brad Hayes was among the select few that established the Chamber of Commerce and to this day has not stopped working with the town. Hayes was recently in the top 10 listing/selling agencies in the county. Hayes agents continuously are involved in town organizations and Hayes supports everything from Pride Day to town Softball teams. Thank you Hayes for continuing to support our town and stay involved!
Thank you very much to the Wakefield Inn for hosting such a fantastic night and Phil Twombley (2016 Citizen of the Year) for making the dinner!
